PARENT EDUCATION AND SUPPORT CALENDAR

As the saying goes, unfortunately kids don’t come with their own instruction manuals; however, there are tips and techniques that can make parenting easier and living with children better for everyone in the household! Our list of parent Education and support opportunities is available on our website and it can be e-mailed to you every month. E-mail Paul at paul@capecoalition.com for more info.

A NOTE ABOUT PARENT EDUCATION AND SUPPORT

If you would ever like to learn more about parent education and support, or just would like to share your opinions or ideas – such as what’s needed, what works well, or what doesn’t really seem to fit for Cape parents today - that’s one of the reasons we’re here, so please contact CCNSC at 508-771-4336. Thank you!

CCNSC FAMILY SUPPORT INFORMATION LINE
888-99-CCNSC (22672) - Not just for parents!

A free, confidential information and referral service for all families on the Cape and Islands. By calling our toll-free line, families -- or professionals and volunteers who work with families - can learn about a variety of resources such as emergency financial assistance, fuel assistance, parent education and support, mental health professionals, transportation options, and programs and activities for children of all ages. When appropriate, we can also handle some of the time-consuming and often difficult “legwork” involved with connecting a family with the resources that best fit that family’s particular situation.
