     Cape & Islands Foster Care Enrichment Fund

The CCNSC's Foster Care Support Task Force awards funds that enable foster children to participate in enriching experiences that would otherwise be cost-prohibitive.*  Awards are made by the Task Force from the Foster Care Enrichment Fund up to $350 per foster child per school year.  We accept applications from foster parents, social workers, service coordinators, school professionals, and foster youth.  We love to hear that thanks to an enrichment fund, a foster child has pursued a passion or discovered a new talent or skill, or done something he or she hasn't had the opportunity to do before!   (*If state agency funds are not applicable and/or not available).

2010-2011 Foster Care Enrichment Fund Guidelines & Application

If the activity takes place on or BEFORE June 30, 2011, then you must use the 2010-2011 application (click above).

If the activity takes place on or AFTER July 1, 2011, then you must use the 2011-2012 application (click below).

• Lessons - Music, Dance, Art, and Sports, Including Horseback Riding, Ice Skating, Tennis and Golf.
• Afterschool Programs
• Summer Camps and Day Programs
• Workshops at a Community School or at Cape Cod Community College
• Gym Memberships
• Teen Clubs at the YMCA
• Lifeguard Training
• Driver's Education
• School Trips
• College Visits
